Apr 7, 2019

Hello, sweeties! Happy Sunday!

Here I am, with a new "Fashion" post to share with you! Today I'd like to chat with you about another piece that I consider a wardrobe staple: The Biker Leather Jacket.  I think it is a basic piece that never goes out of style and gives many styling possibilities, without mentioning that it is very practical during mid-season weather.

Wardrobe staples│ Trench Coat, your ally this Spring

Mar 24, 2019

Hello, sweeties! Happy Sunday!

We are having such beautiful sunny weather! But during the Spring the weather is very unstable here in Switzerland. Rain can happen any minute, mornings are cold and the temperatures rise fast during the day. The best way to brave all those weather changes is having some versatile clothing in your wardrobe and layering them!!

When you have a long day ahead, the Trench Coat is a great ally! It is formal enough for a smart working outfit, but also suitable for a date, or a more casual look, even with jeans. It is one of those clothing staples so versatile during Spring. Today I share with you how I style my Trench coat for a date night after work. I hope you like it!

The smell of Spring in a bottle: Guerlain la petite robe noire Ma robe pétales

Jun 9, 2015

Ever since I read Sunny's review on this EdT I got itchy to smell Guerlain's La Petite Robe Noire in its spring version Eau Fraîche  "Ma robe pétales". The moment I passed a Guerlain counter, I was hooked and got this little flacon which I have loved and enjoyed for the past two months. I am in love with it! (and a little obsessed too).

New Spring-Summer love: DiorSkin Nude air serum foundation

May 6, 2015

This is an scheduled post!!

Hello my lovelies! How are you?
It is time to talk about makeup, more specifically about foundation LOVE! I've been using my Diorskin nude Air serum foundation for the past few weeks and I am so in love with it I wanted to share my opinion with you.

This is the latest Dior foundation for Spring and Summer, and there is a bit of controversy about it being an absolute holy grail for some and a total fail for others. So I thought one more opinion about it wouldn't hurt, right?

Spring favourites & EOTD: Chanel Quadra eye shadow Tisse Cambon 228

May 9, 2014

Hello lovelies! Happy Friday!

This month of May have brought so many beautiful things with it so far! The joyful visit of an old friend past Friday, the birth of our friends' baby boy the past Saturday (I knew it, I knew it was a boy!).

Also a minor but very exciting blog-related appointment this week, my very first invitation to a beauty event on Tuesday. The best part of it was personally meeting Melissa from Kiss and Make-up  beauty blog -she's even more beautiful and adorable in person.

Well, that's not it, this weekend will bring a bunch of great things too! Our godson will be making his first communion on Sunday which is also Mother's day. I am really planning to have much fun!

Ok, let's get into makeup now. As you might have noticed already, Chanel has launched a whole bunch of new quads this Spring -and discontinued several- in their permanent range. (Please, check out Sara's blog for swatches of all the quads). I've swatched them all in the store, and hesitated a lot, but finally fell for Tissé Cambon.

Spring Favourites: EdP Body by Burberry

May 11, 2013

Happy Weekend my dears! Are you rocking this weekend? I hope so!
Today I want to talk "Perfume" with you. For the past few years my go to scent for Spring was Miss Dior Chérie L'eau. Now the hardest part since it's been discontinued and my last bottle finished, was that I had to find another favourite scent. and that is not an easy thing, because I'm quite picky about perfumes. While I love wearing perfumes, I get quickly fed up with most scents. I was resign not to ever find another scent I'd really love.
So I went to my local perfumery, decided to buy whatever was nice and affordable, because anyway I knew in a few days I would be fed up. When I entered the store I noticed they were having 20% on all Bvlgari and Burberry perfumes. I saw Burberry has launched a new Perfume called Body for Spring and since it was so affordable I decided to give it a try. It has been over a month now I'm wearing this scent everyday! That's enough saying if you know me. This perfume has a strange quality on me (maybe on everybody, I don't know), it evolves, it changes throughout the day. It has a really fresh but intense scent at the same time. I really suck at describing scents, but I was so pleasantly surprised by this perfumed I decided to share it with you.
So I left behind my orange flowers beloved notes, to pass to Peach, Fressia, Iris, Rose and Green Absinthe, being quite skeptical. But I'm pleased overall and keeping this scent on for Spring!
What are your favourite scents this spring? Have you tried Burberry Body? What do you think about it?
Love,
Nati

Spring Favourites: Chanel Béryl stylo yeux waterproof

Apr 27, 2013
Hello my lovelies! Happy Saturday!
Continuing with my Spring favourites I want to share with you a recently released (this was LE) Chanel Stylo yeux waterproof. Well, recently means it's part of the Spring collection 2013. This is a very controversial product (if I can say so like that) because many bloggers have given bad reviews about it. I, for once have not read any review before buying it. In fact, I tried it on the back of my hand in the store, and it survived every hand washing through the day, until I rubbed it off with makeup remove, which blew my brain, so I came back to the store and bought it. This is my new perfect liner for the water line, to give the impression of wider eyes, I really like that it's not white or cream shade but levander, because that makes the trick less obvious! I also like to apply it to the inner corner to illuminate the eyes.

Spring Favourites: Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet La favorite (+ swatches update)

Apr 6, 2013

Happy Saturday my lovelies! I hope you're enjoying your weekend!
I don't know what it is with this man I married, but whatever he gets me becomes a favourite of mine! So either I cherish specially what he gives me, either he has a great taste. Could be both!
Whatever, I'm babbling here. The point is I can't get enough of this lipstick. I find it appropriate for every occasion, despite it being quite bright, and I love how it

Spring Favourites Clarins Eye revive Beauty Flash

Mar 23, 2013

Hello my lovelies! Happy Satudary to you all!
Today I decided I was going to share with you my favourites for this season, as I did for Fall. To start with is one wonderful product I've recently discovered: Clarins Eye revive Beauty Flash.
Believe it or not, this is my very first eye-care product, and not because I wouldn't need one, I've tested several samples (Chanel Ultra correction line repair, Lancôme Absolue Eye, Biotherm Chroma lift yeux,  Estée Lauder Advance night repair cream, and a couple I'm forgeting) and could not find one gentle enough, yet efficient enough for my eyes. Unitl I got this one!I know that it's not new that a girl after her 25th birthday should start taking care of the skin around her eyes, well, I haven't... Now I'm over 30 and it's definitely time to do something about it.
What I like about this product is that gel consistency, so refreshing! This product is to be applied in the morning in the area under your eye, I also apply it on the upper lid, because it is so gentle! It immediately mosturizes the area. After some minutes it also takes away puffiness (believe me I can barely open my eyes in the morning they're so puffy!) And after several weeks using it it has improve the overall appearance of my eye which was very dry. Now I think that even makeup on the eyes looks better than before!
Based on all the eye products I've tested  I can recommend this one for very sensitive eyes. If you have sensitive eyes and you're looking for an eye cream to start with, which is lightweighted, scent free, and for the first signs of age and fatigue, this might be your answer.
Please, let me know what eye cream is your favourite and why!
Love,
Nati
